Twitter users, along with the crypto enthusiast community, may soon see a very different version of the social media app — one that will replace the iconic blue bird logo with an “X” as part of a major rebrand.
However, crypto Twitter isn’t particularly enthused about some of the changes.
In a series of tweets on July 23, Musk indicated that the platform would be rebranded as “X” as early as Monday, his initial move. last change For an ‘Everything App’.

According to the Wayback Machine, prior to the change, x.com was a mostly blank website that displayed only the letters “x”. Earlier, it redirected to Musk’s Boring Company website. The rebranding comes after Musk acknowledged on July 15 that Twitter’s advertising revenue had declined by 50% and that the company was heavily in debt, although it is not known over what time frame the revenue decline occurred.
