How much money can I get from the Facebook settlement?
The amount of money each person receives depends on how long they’ve had a Facebook account and the total number of valid claims submitted.
Class members may choose to have their funds distributed via direct deposit, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal or prepaid Mastercard.
When will I get my money?
A final approval hearing for the settlement is set for September 7, 2023. After that, the final disbursement will take place, although the process may be delayed due to appeals.
To retain your right to separately file litigation against Meta, you must file a request to opt out of the Settlement no later than July 26, 2023.
