NFL star Travis Kelce hilariously failed to name NFL head coaches

Every year the NFL head coaches pose for a photo together and it’s always a good time.

This year’s picture didn’t fail because of Bill Belichick and Andy Reid’s legs being on full display — but it was lead tight end Travis Kelce who stole the show.

The two-time Super Bowl champion was tasked by his older brother to name all 29 (of 32) NFL coaches in photos from league meetings in Phoenix last week.

during the latest episode of “New Heights” Podcast Hosted by Kelce, 33, and his brother, Eagles center Jason Kelce, 35, the Chiefs tight end tried to shut down all the coaches.

“I’m the worst with names but I can name teams” said little Kells, ready for the challenge.

Kelce started off strong, going three for three, correctly identifying the head coaches of the Chargers (Brandon Staley), Giants (Brian Dabol) and 49ers (Kyle Shanahan), but everything went downhill after that. Went.

“who is that man?” Kelce asks to come closer to the screen for a better look, which gives Jason a big laugh.

“I don’t know the next two,” admitted Kelce before shrugging off the coaches of the Steelers, Buccaneers and Lions.

“No chance you’re getting it, no chance,” Jason enthused to his younger brother, referring to Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell, to whom he agreed and went straight to Jets coach Robert Saleh. Went.

“After Jets nothing, I never saw that guy in my king life,” Travis says before immediately calling defeat on the next two coaches. “I mean three in a row I don’t know who those dudes are between the Jets and the Jaguars.”

“They’re (former Eagles) offensive coordinator, Shane Steichen for the Colts, come Travis!” Jason explains.

Backtracking, Travis asked who was standing next to Jaguars coach Doug Pederson.

“You should get to know him, because he’s arguably your biggest rival,” Jason signals to his brother.

“Oh, he’s Cincy, he’s a dog, what’s his name? He’s Coach,” Travis replies behind his brother’s high-pitched laugh.

The Cincinnati Bengals and head coach Zach Taylor played the Chiefs twice during the 2022 season, including this January in the AFC Championship game, where Kansas City won 23-20 in the Super Bowl.

After his terrible foray into the top line of coaches, Travis turned downward, starting with the Cowboys’ Mike McCarthy, whom Jason jokingly calls “Matt Foley” because of Cowboys leader Chris Farley’s dressing like his SNL character. Was.

Travis then confesses, “Never seen this f–king boy again in my life,” before Jason tells him it is former Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon, now with the Cardinals.

The younger Kelce guesses Mike McDaniel of the Dolphins before being stumped again.

“God damn it, in the NFL,” Travis says before quickly getting to NFL veterans Pete Carroll (Seahawks), Jim Harbaugh (Ravens), Bill Belichick (Patriots) Andy Reid (Chiefs), and Ron Rivera (Commanders). there’s no way.” ,

By the end of the challenge, Travis Kelce was able to guess 21 of the 29 coaches in the picture.

Travis had some fun with the remaining coaches, “Broncos country Sean Payton, Gordon Bombay (Sean McVay of the Rams), Packers and then no clue and rides for the Bills.”

To Travis’ credit, he was able to name 21 of the 29 coaches in the photo after his brother challenged him to guess half the coaches.
