Paul Pierce continues to escalate his Dwyane Wade statement
Dwyane Wade still has a lot of real estate, according to Paul Pierce.
The Boston Celtics legend was not only recognized as one of the greatest players of his generation with his induction into the Hall of Fame in 2021.
But that respect isn’t enough for Pierce.
The ten-time All-Star continues to argue his case for why his career is better than fellow Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade’s, citing Wade’s talent as he won three NBA titles.
Pierce said, “Put Shaq on my team.” Cameron’s “It Is What It Is” Talk Show, keep lebron [James] And [Chris] boss with me I’m not gonna win either? You put me, LeBron and Bosh, we ain’t gonna win a single one? Won’t we even win a pair? Who is the better 3-point shooter? Is he the better scorer? Well, he averaged more marks than I did in my career. I can shoot 3. I can do mid-range. I can post I can reach the line. Who is the better scorer?
The 2008 NBA champion further added, “For a long time, my skills were under-appreciated because I didn’t get to play with many great players.” “And then I got to play with her [Kevin Garnett] and ray [Allen] have passed their peak. Four years ago, you put me, Ray and KG together, do you think we are not sailing with three ‘ships’?’
While Pierce has an argument for Wade’s tendency to attract stars to play with him during his career—some of which may relate more to the city of Miami than Boston—Wade scored a decisive victory in the title wins department.
Pierce also points to his shooting and all-around scoring as a leg up against Wade, but that may be his only real advantage over Wade.

During his 19-year career, the 10th overall choice in the 1998 draft was a ten-time All-Star, a four-time All-NBA selection, the Finals MVP in 2008 with the Celtics, and one of the best players of the aughts.
However, in comparison to Wade it is clear who not only had the better career, but was also the better player.
Wade’s career accolades include a 13-time All-Star, eight-time All-NBA selection, three-time NBA champion and Finals MVP with the Miami Heat in 2006, scoring titles in 2008, and All-Star Game MVP in 2009.
None of this stopped Pierce from trying to make his case — which he continued to do Monday morning.
He tweeted, “All goats played with at least one other goat in their early days.”
