The Longhorns and Sooners have one more season to prepare for life in the Southeastern Conference. There’s no shortage of Elite Pass catchers in the Mid-South
This week, the Rivals staff wrote features on the top wide receiver talents in each region. Excellences such as best hands and best route running were awarded for a position that has become increasingly valuable in the sport.

In addition to those two, talents like Drey’lon Miller, JJ Harrell, and Courtney Crutchfield are among the prospects to watch out for at the position. Four-star speedsters Ernest Campbell and Jelani Watkins are track stars and some of the fastest prospects nationally.

Buy Stock in DFW Defensive Backs
Dallas-Fort Worth is one of the largest recruiting centers in the country. Home to several elite programs and top-notch talent, the college has no shortage of potential difference-makers with the potential to play key roles right out of the gate.
The defensive position is strong for the 2024 cycle. Though no five-stars yet, the Metroplex is home to rival 100 defensive backs Javier Filsime and Corian Gipson as well as four-star standout Ka’Devian Dotson. The latter of the two is set to make his commitments later this week.
This is Texas-Clemson-Ohio State Battle for Gipson, who has the versatility to play in the defensive backfield. Clemson increased the recruiting of the Lancaster product after offering him in the spring and hosting him on several visits over the past few months. However, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding the Longhorns prior to the announcement. And the Buckeyes should never be overlooked for the potential they crave.
As for Dotson, he stands among Duncanville’s strong defense that ranks among the best at the high school level. He is a downhill safety who likes to run and make tackles in space. lsu And Texas was high on their list early in the process. but a trio of Oklahoma State, SMU And TCU Everyone has pushed and shoved.
SMU is the program that looks to be in the best position to potentially retain blue chip talent in-house. That said, there are a couple of Big 12 programs worth keeping an eye on as they head toward commitment. Dotson is about to announce his decision live rival youtube channel Sunday at 4 p.m. CT.
