Top 30 prospect Dylan Stewart visiting Miami, planning another SEC visit

Washington (DC) Friendship Collegiate Academy defensive end Dylan Stewart is one of the most coveted players in the Class of 2024. Lots of top-30 prospects have made tours this spring and a short list of main contenders is starting to take shape.

Stewart’s most recent visit was to Oregon for his spring game, but he’ll be in Coral Gables this weekend for another look miami, He also has another trip scheduled for an SEC event later this month.

Stewart said, “The big highlights were the spring games at Oregon, watching Coach Lupoi and Coach Lanning and talking with them about how they would develop me.” “His defense looked good. I like his defense.

“I’ll be in Miami this weekend,” he said. “I love their new staff and the way they’re recruiting me. Jason Taylor knows what I’m going through so he’s been able to give me a lot of advice. It does a lot for me because he Knows what to do and what to do.” What to do to make it.

“I am going Tennessee May 29th I guess,” Stewart said. “I want to sit down and talk with the coaches. This will be my first time to see everything there. I’m talking to Coach Banks.”

Stewart’s official visits are scheduled South Carolina, Ohio StateAnd Georgia for the next month but he doesn’t plan to commit any time soon.

“Every time I go to South Carolina I get more relaxed,” he said. “I’m comfortable with their fans and most of the staff. At most schools, you know the main people, but you’ll know the trainers and other coaches, but at South Carolina I know most of the people. Stewart said, “June 16th is my official visit to Ohio State.” “Coach Johnson is really passionate about getting me. “It’s the development in Georgia and my relationships there,” he said. “I’m close to a lot of the staff and coaches. I talk to Kirby Smart. If I had to go out there, I’d be around a lot of people. I’m not the only star on defense so I won’t be the main focus. I’m very Will be around all the good defensive guys. Everyone eats there. There’s not really much in Athens, but I’m not really worried about it. My official visit is the first weekend of June.

Before all is said and done, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Stewart make official visits to Oregon, Miami, Alabama and Miami, as well as all three already scheduled for South Carolina, Ohio State and Georgia. If you were trying to name a leader in Stewart’s recruiting right now, you’d have a hard time choosing between South Carolina, Ohio State and Georgia. It will be interesting to see where Stewart stands after his trip to Miami later this week and whether he arrives in Tennessee later this month.
