The Triplets came into the matchup tied 1-1 but could easily have been one of the 2-0 teams sitting on top. They include captain Joe Johnson, who has been named the best player in the BIG3 every year. Jeremy Pargo continued to perform well and put in a stellar performance in his last game. Their lineup ended with Damien Wilkins, Mo Charlo, Larry Sanders, Jamario Moon and coach Lisa Leslie.
Tri-State is looking like the team to beat this year and they have the season’s MVP so far in Jason Richardson. Many expected Richardson to have another great year, but his scoring explosions are proving that he’s coming for the MVP and the championship trophy as well. Their lineup included Justin Dentman, DeShaun Stephens, Ray Nixon, Devin Ebanks and coach “Dr.” Are included. J” Julius Erving.

why triplets will win
The triplets have a one-two punch in Joe Johnson and Jeremy Pargo. Over the years, Joe Johnson has solidified himself as the BIG3 GOAT and always gives his team a chance to fight for the championship. Head coach Lisa Leslie understands the game very well and will always put the ball in Johnson’s hands if she needs a clutch win. Pargo has been sensational for them and finished with 31 points on 12-19 shooting last game.
If Pargo and Johnson can both put on their strong showings at the same time, Tippetts should be able to win this game as the underdog. Their defense hasn’t been the strongest, so expect Richardson and Tri-State to engage in shootouts if they start to feel themselves. The four-point shot will be played here as both Pargo and Johnson like to spread the floor.
Why Tri-State Will Win
The BIG3 is a league of individual stars, and Tri-State has arguably their best star of the season on their team. Jason Richardson has been unstoppable this season and is doing so with his scoring, passing and rebounding. He’s quick to grab rebounds and always tries to get in and around the rim. His shooting from deep has been sensational and he can easily pull his team back in close games.
They will need another stellar performance from Richardson to compete in this game. DeShawn Stephens has been a great player as a first year player and his presence allows him to be strong on the perimeter. Expect Stephens to switch his defense to offensive as he looks to send shots off triplets.
Ultimate Tri-Tri-State Prediction and Selection
This should be a great game between two great teams, but hopefully it will be a contest between Joe Johnson and Jason Richardson to see who is the real BIG3 king. In this type of matchup, there is no telling which team will win. Instead, let’s look at the overs as both the teams have the potential to score big. Watch this game to be close to the line.
