Women’s World Cup: United States vs. Vietnam in numbers
The United States women’s national team will take on Vietnam in the opening game of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup at Eden Park on Friday (9 p.m. ET on Fox and the Fox Sports app).
The United States has qualified for all nine editions of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, a feat achieved by only six other countries. Meanwhile, Vietnam is making its Women’s World Cup debut after reaching the quarter-finals of the 2022 AFC Women’s Asian Cup and play-off wins over Chinese Taipei and Thailand.
